I’m a Believer!!!

When Alex and I started Teres Kids, we compiled a list of what we needed from our clothing line by surveying parents, caregivers, and OTs. To this list we added our personal expectations. The list basically called for clothing that was completely sourced and made in the United States, 100% organic, durable, easy to take on and off, and most importantly it had to be very, very comfortable. So, we set out on our mission, testing fabrics, seams, and styles in hopes of fulfilling our expectations.

As any designer, artist, writer, chef, performer…. or anyone who has made anything…. knows, you set out to create a masterpiece, then you hold on tight hoping the execution matches the effort and passion behind it. I knew we had created something great…. but would it stand the test of time and TODDLERS!!!!!

Well, I used to joke that my three year old could wear barbed wire and wouldn’t complain. Needless to say she wasn’t one of our sample testers. I added the clothes to her closet and started dressing her in them all the time because they were so easy to put on and take off. After about a month she started complaining about her other clothes, and even her pajamas, asking for her comfy clothes. Imagine my satisfaction!!!! Then, one day she pulled out the Teres Kids pants from her drawer and said “put these on me mommy so I can jump higher!!!!!” I was beside myself!!!!!! What has made me even happier is wash after wash the fabric keeps getting softer and softer without piling or thinning, and the seams are so durable.

As you can tell I’m very happy with the results. So happy I want to put a soap box on the corner and start preaching about the clothes. I won’t knock on your door testifying my belief in Teres Kids….. but I want to!!!!
